Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)

Thank God! He is faithful to His promises. While facing a group of kids from broken or violent families, we rely upon God's teaching. Through prayers we experience His faithful leading and promises.

During this winter vacation, ROH was once again invited to join World Vision to hold a WWF camp for nearly 80 junior and senior high school students. We invited college students who have finished WWF programs and live sexually pure lives to be our assistants to help kids from violent families, low-income families and single-parent families or who are being raised by grandparents. Volunteer lecturers and all of us taught them the holiness
of life; and showed them how to value others and their own lives through stories and exercises. We listened to music, and showed films and movies inspiring them to sign sexually pure commitment cards.

I was so touched by seeing these youth (assistants) devoting themselves to making this camp so wonderful. They held competitions, cheered, designed posters on the floor, brainstormed team slogans and performed dramas together in order to have a cheerful and comforting camp for those junior and senior high school students who need love, care and help.

As the activity began, these college student assistants praised God, and we experienced the presence of God and His healing power. We knew that the students loved and enjoyed the moment by their responses and questionnaires. Some kids even asked us how to know more about Jesus. I was so touched.
