Worth Waiting For

 

The objects of Worth Waiting For (WWF):

• Encouraging youth to dedicate their lives to the Lordship of Christ and to make a life-pledge of sexual abstinence before marriage.
• Providing resources that instruct and motivate youth and their families toward lives of sexual purity.
• Mobilizing the body of Christ to communicate the message of Worth Waiting For to the churches and the world.

According to the object of Worth Waiting For, the services we provide include:

 

WWF presentations: Sharing

“Worth Waiting For Sex Education” has been promoted in upper elementary schools, churches, community and organizations. In order to convey the truth of Sanctity of Life and encourage and strengthen Youth to remain sexually pure before marriage, we share the “Worth Waiting For” messages with visual teaching materials. Along with the teaching, we deliver the messages in an active vivid way and let them experience what they’ve learned.

• Workshops & Seminars
  • Parenting Seminars: Teaching parents how to talk to the youth about sex.
  • Worth Waiting For Sex Education Training

From the various phases of mentality, body, sex and values, we understand thoroughly about the pervasive phenomenon of premarital sex in youth and why abortion, STD (sexually transmitted disease), and AIDS have become critical problems. According to those issues, we offer advice, counsel skills and relative resources.

 

 

Target Group

Anyone who concerns about the issue of Sex Education for Youth. Such as adults, youth, staffs in female welfare organizations, school teachers, community workers for youth, pastors or Sunday school teachers.

1. Training for Volunteer Speakers
2. To hold a speaker training course to train volunteers ministering as a team in campus. Or, having an open healthy discussion with the youth in a small group.
3. Government or Schools may invite WWF to train their speakers for Sex Education.

To date, we have shared with over 70,000 students in upper elementary schools, high schools, and universities throughout southern Taiwan, the challenge of remaining sexually pure before marriage. We have also published several tracts promoting the sanctity of life and encouraging youth to remain sexually pure. Students tell us they would not know how to correctly face the temptation of premarital sex without this important message.

Services:

• Personal counseling on: developing healthy relationships, and avoiding the consequences of pre-marital sex- physically, mentally, emotionally and morally.
  
• Education includes teaching on common sexually transmitted diseases and the HIV virus
  
• 24 hour Help-Line
